Hi, I'm Janine — I taught Maths in secondary schools for 32 years. Alongside my teaching role I was also a school Careers Leader for 16 years, so I now run two things under the J9 Education name: maths tutoring, and careers fairs for schools across East Sussex.
I've decided to put my knowledge and skills into helping students excel in maths on a more personal level, through bespoke 1:1 and small-group tutoring. I also offer online courses to help students prepare for their Year 6 SATs, transition from primary to secondary school, prepare for GCSE exams — including the AQA Level 2 Further Maths qualification — and make the jump from GCSE to A Level Maths.

For 16 years I was the Careers Leader at my school, where I planned and delivered careers fairs for my own and other local schools. I want to continue that work and provide good-quality events for students across East Sussex. The large fairs are FREE for schools and students to attend — that's made possible by sponsors, so if you're interested in sponsoring a fair in Eastbourne or Hastings, please get in touch.
